Cooking has always been a passion in my family. For me the greatest reward lies in creating fresh, healthy and delicious meals that satisy ones palate.

Cooking is a delightfully intense, intimate  and sumptuous  experience. A sense of integrity has to accompany the sensations of smell, taste, touch, sight and sound to create a dish that is simple, balanced, complete, and harmonious with flavors and yet fit for royalty.

Cultural diversity and the opportunities to travel have helped me refine my palette and break many culinary barriers. With a new simplistic approach it is my wish to undermine the age-old belief that East African Swahili and Indian cuisines are complex. With just a few of your everyday kitchen ingredients you can create light and luscious dishes that reveal the appetizing culinary secrets from these continents.
 
My mother, Veena Puri, a well-known culinary expert who penned India the Cuisine of the Kings would say: "You can see the world on a plate. Embark on the voyage and you will enter the heart and soul of different cultures and cuisines."
